Yoga is not enough.
You've been practicing for years, maybe decades. And your yoga practice has given you so much: mobility, presence, a relationship with your body that most people never find.
But here is what it probably has not given you: strength. But for women in midlife and beyond, strength is not optional. Muscle mass declines every decade. Balance deteriorates. The risk of falling and fracturing rises. Flexibility alone will not save you.
Yogini Strong is a free body-weight training sequence designed by yoga therapist Mary Richards to build the muscle and functional strength that your yoga practice was never designed to provide.
What you will learn:
- How to load bones and build muscle with body-weight training
- A complete sequence: lunges, squats, planks, hip thrusts, and more
- How to use a chair, wall, and resistance band safely
- Why nervous system downregulation after strength training matters. Guided Savasana included.
- How to teach this sequence to your own students
