You’re teaching yoga. Or practicing for years. But something’s missing.

You’re craving more confidence, clarity, and practical tools. But most trainings are either too dry or too abstract.

🔹 Are you a yoga teacher who gets nervous when students mention injuries or pain?

🔹 Are you a dedicated student aware of how aging and injuries are affecting your practice?

Without a clear understanding of how the body actually works, it’s hard to know what to do, or how to help.

Experiential Anatomy: Yoga Therapeutics changes that.

In this brand new 2.0 version of our beloved Experiential Anatomy course, we don’t teach anatomy as dry theory. We teach it as embodied, practical insight. You’ll gain the confidence to support others skillfully. And understand your own body more deeply, too.

“I love Experiential Anatomy! Highly informative. Well-structured. And such a game changer for both my teaching and practice.”

— Rebecca, Toronto, Canada

What makes this course different?

Practical tools. Deep understanding. Real-time mentorship.

Experiential Anatomy: Yoga Therapeutics blends functional anatomy, therapeutic asana, and live mentorship. Each session helps you internalize what you’re learning through clear, embodied teaching you can apply right away.

You won’t just memorize, you’ll integrate.

We teach anatomy not for trivia, but for transformation. This course is rigorous and practical, grounded in decades of experience.

FAQ

  • What if I’ve already taken the first "Experiential Anatomy" course? Will I learn something new here?

Yes. The first course was structured around the body itself: moving through body regions. This one is organized around common difficulties like forward head posture, lower back pain, and frozen shoulder. You’ll go deeper and apply your knowledge in new, practical ways.

  • Is there a discount if I already took the first "Experiential Anatomy" course?

No, there isn’t a discount, because this is a completely new course built from the ground up with everything we have learned about teaching and learning online since creating the first “Experiential Anatomy” in 2017.

  • How long do I have access to the course materials?

If you join the Foundations tier, you’ll have access for three years. If you choose the Professional tier, you’ll receive lifetime access to all session replays and resources.

  • Do I earn continuing education credit?

Yes. Foundations includes 30 hours of Yoga Alliance YACEP credit. Professional includes 50 hours and culminates in a final exam that qualifies you for our professional certification.

  • What’s the difference between Foundations and Professional?

Professional includes everything in the Foundations tier, plus 8 advanced seminar sessions with Mary or Judith, a downloadable Advanced Therapeutics Guide, a final exam, and our official professional certification. You’ll also receive lifetime access to the full course library.

  • What if I miss a live session?

All classes are recorded. You’ll have full access to the replays and can review them on your own time.

  • Can I ask questions during the course?

Yes. Every live session includes time for Q&A, and you’ll also have access to the course discussion board where you can ask questions, share insights, and connect with fellow students.

  • I feel intimidated by anatomy. Will I be able to keep up?

This course is designed to be clear, experiential, and supportive. We also address the overwhelm that can come with learning complex material. Through structure, repetition, and real-time practice, you’ll integrate the learning in your body, not just in your head.
