Silence is Everywhere
Practicing Restorative Yoga, pranayama, and meditation.
Practicing Restorative Yoga, pranayama, and meditation with Judith Hanson Lasater and Lizzie Lasater
We all seek the healing balm of silence, but where is it to be found? Even in the woods, away from all civilization, we can still hear airplanes roaring, leaves dancing in the wind, and small animals scurrying through the underbrush.
It seems that true silence is only to be found inside us, where it lives at our core, waiting to be discovered.
This workshop focuses on ways we can find our shimmering inner silence during the practice of Restorative Yoga, pranayama, and meditation. These techniques themselves do not create the silence, instead they allow us to hear the silence that was always there.
Silence is not the absence of noise. Rather it is the silent whisper of the Universe as it speaks to our soul.
Join Lizzie Lasater and Judith Hanson Lasater, for a course that will draw us inward at first, and then allow us to blossom fully into this moment of silence. What could be more healing?
We begin each session with a short lecture/discussion, and the rest of our time together will be spent in practice. Gather your props, turn off your phone, close the door, and give yourself the absolute freedom and space to experience the silence we all seek, the silence of refuge.
Lizzie Lasater began teaching Vinyasa Yoga in 2005, before earning a Masters in Architecture from Columbia University.
She lives in Salzburg with her partner and twin boys where she produces online yoga courses, leads retreats, writes a free Sunday self-care newsletter, and designs spirit jewelry.
